About Sun Valley Neighborhood Association

Welcome to the neighborhood website! Sun Valley is nestled in the west end of San Rafael, CA, a city fourteen miles north of San Francisco. San Rafael is the county seat for Marin County and is home to about 55K residents.

The Sun Valley Neighborhood Association, aka Neighborhood 13, is a tax exempt non-profit, non-partisan, organization. Our mission is to promote and protect through organization and cooperative action, the public health, safety, peace, comfort and general welfare of the residents of the Neighborhood 13 area (as designated in the San Rafael General Plan map of neighborhoods). SVNA includes Rafael Highlands, Racquet Club, Grove Hill, Shannon Lane, Sun Valley East and Sun Valley West.

SVNA is part of the San Rafael Federation of Neighborhoods, with George Mills as our Representative to the Federation.

Everyone’s welcome to SVNA activities, but only paid members can vote. We encourage all residents to become paid members.

Membership is only a $20/year/household donation. All donations may be mailed to: SVNA, PO Box 151132, San Rafael, CA 94915. Now would be a great time to join!
